SCHOOLS
Teach your teenage students to be confident, grow in leadership, and safeguard themselves from exploitation.
Why should schools invest in the Brave Series?
Our middle and high school students live in a world that bombards them with messages that undermine their value.
In addition, many teenagers have already experienced pain or trauma in their lives that is unhealed, leaving them feeling alone and unsure of how to overcome fear, rejection, shame, anger, sadness, and anxiety.
Teens who struggle with having confidence and a vision for a positive future tend to be more vulnerable to being exploited.
Though educators may know of some of the dangers students face online, few are aware of how common it is for students across socio-economic backgrounds to be groomed, coerced, and trapped into sex trafficking by friends and classmates.
The Brave Series encompasses two four-volume series: Brave & Beautiful for teen girls and Brave & Bold for teen guys, plus accompanying teacher Guides. A co-ed series, Brave Together, is currently in the works and should be ready by the Summer of 2025.
This powerful curriculum can be used to empower teens in life, leadership, and purpose, while also equipping them with practical ways to safeguard themselves and others from exploitation.
“When first introduced to the materials, I found them breathtaking and unlike anything I had seen. Interactive and thought-provoking, The Brave Series fosters meaningful conversations and personal reflection, creating an environment where teens can share and connect. Its beautifully designed presentation captures the attention of even the most discerning teenagers, making it as visually engaging as it is impactful. The Brave Series equips young people with the tools to navigate challenges, make informed decisions, and step confidently into their potential by addressing critical topics like self-worth, healthy relationships, and personal responsibility.”
-Phyllis Unebasami, Retired Deputy Superintendent, Hawaii State Department of Education
How to use The Brave Series in the classroom.
There are many different ways to use the Brave Series in a classroom setting:
Some schools opt to work through a different volume with each year group - for example, volume 1 with freshmen, volume 2 with sophomores, etc.
Teachers may choose to incorporate Brave Series lessons as a regular part of the curriculum throughout the school year.
Alternatively, a school might choose the Brave Series as the curriculum during a special focus week.
The Brave Series comes in two versions: faith (for those of Christian faith) and classic. The classic (non-faith) version is suitable for a public school setting.
We would love to connect with you personally to find creative ways to tailor the Brave Series to your setting.
Whatever your approach and time constraints, our Teacher Guides provide hundreds of activities and reflection questions that you can use to quickly create lessons that will spark transformation among your students.

Testimonials from Educators
“I began using Brave & Beautiful with our students in the Winter of 2023 in order to equip them to become more aware of potentially harmful situations and/or toxic relationships in which they could find themselves. We held classes using the curriculum, which opened up lively discussions and enabled several girls to talk about and even free themselves from negative relationships.”
— Sandy Woods, Principal, Comenius School of Creative Leadership, SC
“I’d like to highlight one of the many examples of impact and transformation that Brave & Beautiful has had on our 6th-grade girls. There were twin sisters in this first class who, through experiencing the Brave & Beautiful curriculum, showed remarkable personal growth and increased self-confidence. As a result, they both applied to be Student Government leaders for the whole Elementary campus and were elected to do so. Their confidence has soared as they grew in understanding their immense value.”
— Deede Santiago, Elementary School Principal, Kamehameha Schools, HI
“Day by day, I watched eyes, ears, and hearts open to the truth. Because the material was so beautifully laid out in these pages, the ladies were hungry to learn and to consume the wisdom. Many girls shared how refreshing it was to talk about things they never get to talk about… No doubt, this material will not only equip girls in their value and identity, but it will also save many from the lures of trafficking, porn, and sexual abuse. I cannot recommend this course book and material enough.”
— Kelly Balarie, Educator
